Privacy Policy
1. Scope of this Policy
This policy covers data WPWaaS collects at the platform level — from agencies who subscribe to WPWaaS, and limited technical data about how the platform is used. It does not cover how your agency, or the churches you serve, handle personal data collected through a deployed portal (member records, giving history, prayer requests, and so on). That data is governed by your own privacy policy with your clients.
2. WPWaaS's Role vs. Your Agency's Role
3. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account & billing data: your name, agency name, email, billing address, and payment details, collected when you subscribe to a plan.
- Platform usage data: log-in activity, feature usage, and support interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
- Deployed-site metadata: limited technical information about sites deployed under your account (e.g. domain, plan tier, module configuration) needed to operate updates, billing, and support — not the personal data of your churches' members, which remains under your control.
4. How We Use Data
We use the data above to operate and bill the Service, provide support, push platform and security updates, communicate changes to these policies or the Service, and — where you've opted in — send product updates or marketing communications.
5. Cookies
Our marketing site and agency dashboard use cookies for essential functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) marketing. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
6. Sharing With Third Parties
We share data with service providers who help us operate the platform, including payment processors, hosting providers, and mobile money/regional payment partners. We use Stripe for payments, and Google Analytics for cookies. We do not sell agency or subscriber data to third parties.
7. Data Storage & Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
Given WPWaaS serves agencies and payment methods across multiple regions, data may be processed in a different country than where you or your clients are located.
9. Data Retention
We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations after closure.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by agencies and their adult clients, not by children. Where a deployed church portal may incidentally hold data about minors (e.g. as part of family or household records), your agency and church client are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent and safeguards under applicable law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice before taking effect.
13. Contact
